In the early '90s, Teresa Morlan transitioned from a vegetarian diet to a 100% plant based diet and took her family on an adventure in health and creative cuisine. Before most major grocery store chains had heard of vegetarian meats and plant-based cheeses, Teresa was creating "meatloaf," "banana splits" and "nacho cheese" in her kitchen without the use of any animal-derived ingredients.
By the early 2000s, she and her daughter, Christina, were serving plant-based comfort food in her restaurant in southern Illinois where patrons were pleasantly surprised to find that plant-based eating could be delicious in addition to being a healthier choice.
With a passion for providing delicious, nutritious plant-based classics and comfort foods, Teresa and Christina are bringing Springfield Missouri its first 100% plant-based culinary establishment.
